Date Night

For Mary, today, the 19th, was dreaded Praxis day. Two tests, seven and a half hours of testing, two hour break (lunch, powernap, studying), and three bubblesheets later, she was exhausted. So she took herself on a date: movie and ice cream. "Walk the Line" was really good, but full of country/bluegrass/early rock n roll, so if you don't like that stuff, you might not like the movie. Mary's two week stint at Union County High School has come to an end and despite the bomb scare, it was a fantastic time. The cooperating teacher was great, got Mary involved from the first day. Hopefully student teaching in Pensacola will be just as good.

Unfortunately Jared is on 12 hour duty tonight so he'll probably spend most of Sunday sleeping. Perhaps this is a trade off for getting most of Thanksgiving week off....so goes the military.

Since life isn't so exciting right now, mostly work, Mary has made some suggestions for your Thanksgiving break:
Listen to: "Dream Big" by Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband
Read: A Prayer for Owen Meany
Watch: Finding Nemo or Remember the Titans
